Tap on the rightmost icon
on the title bar to open the Utility screen and check whether the settings listed below are correct.- Device Number: this must be set to match the device number of the synthesizer. In general, you should set this to "All."
- MIDI Type: set this to "Cable" when connecting via the i-MX1, and to "Wireless" when using wireless MIDI communication between the MOTIF XF and your Apple iPad.
If you wish to use wireless MIDI communication between the MOTIF XF and your Apple iPad, you will need to upgrade the OS on the MOTIF XF.For worry-free use, please use a commercially available USB Wi-Fi adaptor which has been certified for use with the instruments by Yamaha.
* A USB Wi-Fi adaptor certified for use with the instruments is scheduled for release to coincide with the launch of the application.
