Zone 2 setup on the RX-V1900 using the Internal Power Amp

The RX-V1900 SP1 Speaker Terminals can power one set of speakers for Zone 2.  If the SP1 Speaker Terminals are
utilized then the RX-V1900 cannot be set for 7.1 (Surround Back terminals.) or Bi Amp (Surround Back terminals.)

Setting the SP1 Speaker terminals for Zone 2


Note: The RX-V1900 remote control will be used to access the Setup Menu of receiver.

1.    Set the Side Selector Switch (To the right of the volume Buttons.) to AMP.
2.    Press the Menu button on the remote control.
3.    Set Menu/Manual Setup up in the receiver LED Screen.
4.    Press the Enter Button on the remote control.
5.    Manual Setup/1 Speaker Menu will come up on the receiver LED Screen.
6.    Press the Arrow Down button repeatedly on the remote to get to 6 Option Menu
7.    Press the Enter Button on the remote control.
8.    6 Option Menu / A) Display Set will come up on the receiver LED Screen.
9.    Press the Arrow Down button repeatedly until 6 Option Menu / D) Zone Set comes up in the receiver LED Screen
10.    Press the Enter Button on the remote control.
11.    D) Zone Set / >Zone 2 Zone 3 will come up on the receiver LED Screen.
12.    For Zone 2 make sure the `>` is to the left of Zone 2 on the receiver LED Screen.
13.    Press the Arrow Down button on the remote control one time.  
14.    AMP…………….[EXT] Should show up on the receiver LED Screen.  
15.    Press the Right Arrow Button to the right on the remote control or the Left Arrow button on the remote control repeatedly until AMP…………….[SP1] comes up on the receiver LED Screen.
16.    Press the Menu button on the remote control to exit and complete the Zone 2 setup.  

 
To control Zone 2 using the RX-V1900 remote control:

1.    When the remote is set for the Main Zone, press the Zone button on the remote one time.
2.    The remote will switch from Main Zone to Zone 2 and Zone 2 will stay on the left corner of the LED screen of the
        remote while using.
3.    The remote will now be programmed to Power On, set Zone 2 to Standby, adjust Volume and select Analog inputs.
4.    To exit out of Zone 2 control, press the Zone button repeatedly until Main lights up in the LED screen of the
        remote upper left hand corner.
