This unit has an auto-sleep function. This function will automatically turn off the unit if it's left turned on for 12 hours without any operation being performed.
In other words, if no button is pressed on the Yamaha remote or on the front of the unit for a period of 12 hours, the unit will automatically power off. If you leave the Yamaha powered on when not watching TV we would suggest powering it off until ready to use again.
