1) Depress the [PFL]or [AFL] buttons send the prefader audio from that channel,group or effect return to the monitor and headphone output only that channels fader will have no effect on the audio signal at this point.
2) Once the audio signal has been monitored and adjust if necessary, press the [PFL] or [AFL] button again to return it to the up position and return the mixer back to its normal opertion.
TIPS: If audio is only heard from the headphone jack or monitor outputs, check each pfl and afl to ensure they are all in the up ,unengaged position .
