Cascading Two 01V Mixers

Last Update: 01/15/2004

By using the Stereo Digital In and Stereo Digital Out connections, two 01Vs can be cascaded for 48 channels of digital mixing. The audio signals from 01V-A mixer are combined together into a stereo mix and then sent to 01V-B mixer via the Digital Stereo Coaxial connections. When doing this it is necessary to set 01V-A mixer as the wordclock master and the 01V-B mixer as the wordclock slave. It will also be necessary to set the delay time on the 01V-B mixer since it takes several hundred microseconds for the 01V-A mixer to process its digital audio data.

For simultaneous solo operation, display page and fader mode selection, two or more 01Vs can be linked together using the TO HOST or MIDI ports by setting up the Link Port between the two 01V mixers.
