EMX 212,312,512.Connecting an External Power Amp to Drive Unpowered Speakers.
1) To add more main speakers, connect the inputs of the power amp to the main 1/4 outputs on the front panel . The levelof these 1/4 unbalanced jacks is controlled by the [MAIN] level control which also controls the main level goin to the internal amplifiers.
2) To add more monitor speakers, connect the inputs of the power amp to the monitor1/4 output on the front panel . The levelof this 1/4 unbalanced jack is controlled by the [MONITOR] level control which also controls the monitor level goin to the internal amplifiers.
WARNING: Never connect a power amplifier to the rear panel speaker connections or damage will occur. Those connections are for unpowered speakers only.
