Connecting an External Power Amp to Drive Unpowered Speakers with the EMX212, 312 or 512.
1. To add more main speakers, connect the main 1/4in. outputs of the front panel to the inputs of the power amp. The level of these 1/4in. unbalanced jacks is controlled by the [MAIN] level control which also controls the main level going to the internal amplifiers.
2. To add more monitor speakers, connect the monitor 1/4in. output on the front panel to input of the power amp. The level of this 1/4in. unbalanced jack is controlled by the [MONITOR] level control which also controls the monitor level going to the internal amplifiers.
WARNING: Do not connect a power amplifier to the rear panel speaker connections or damage will occur. Those connections are for unpowered speakers only.
