Initial Preparation:
1) Turn ON the MFC10.
NOTE: Make sure that the 2 switches in the back are set to 'NORMAL' and 'MIDI'.
2) Connect a MIDI cable from the MFC10 'MIDI OUT' to the sound source 'MIDI IN'.
3) Select the MIDI Transmit Channel for the MFC10:
a) Press the [MEMORY EDIT] and [FC EDIT] buttons simultaneously.
b) Press the [INC/YES] or [DEC/NO] buttons to select a MIDI Transmit Channel
EXAMPLE: ‘C 01’ for MIDI Channel 1.
c) Press the [WRITE/EXIT] button. The LED display will flash.
d) Press the [INC/YES] button to confirm the setting.
Transmitting Bank MSB, Bank LSB and Program Change Numbers:
1) Press the [FUNCTION] button to turn OFF the ‘FUNCTION’ LED.
2) Select a desired memory number with the foot switches.
NOTE: A total of 128 (001 – 128) memory allocations are available for storing such data. The number selected in this step will also be the Program Change Number transmitted.
3) Press the [MEMORY EDIT] button.
4) Press the [MEMORY EDIT] button repeatedly to illuminate the LED next to ‘BANK MSB’.
5) Use the [INC/YES] or [DEC/NO] buttons to select a desired Bank MSB number.
6) Press the [MEMORY EDIT] button repeatedly to illuminate the LED next to ‘BANK LSB’.
7) Use the [INC/YES] or [DEC/NO] buttons to select a desired Bank LSB number.
8) Press the [WRITE/EXIT] button.
9) Press the [INC/YES] button to store the settings.
10) Repeat steps 2 – 9 for subsequent setups.
