CRW8424SX drives with firmware versions earlier than 1.0 cannot be used with the AW2816. (The AW2816 may not operate properly with firmware versions earlier than 1.0.) Make sure that the firmware of the drive is higher than version 1.0. You can download the latest firmware version from the link below .

WAV file exporting and OS updating is supported in FAT16 formatted 230, 540MB MO disks only. 640MB or 1.3GB MO media is not supported. Please see Chapter 16 "Disc Utilities" of the Operation Guide.

The maximum supported hard disk size is 64GB. In Multi-drive mode, partitioned volumes of 40GB each can be used for a maximum of 80GB.

When using Multi-drive mode, set the SCSI ID from 0 to 4. Be sure no other devices are assigned to the same ID.

The maximum supported hard disk size is 64GB. Buffalo brand drives are not compatible with Multi-drive mode.
