When using a Waveform Cartridge for the first time or changing to a different one, insert the cartridge into the WAVEFORM DATA CARTRIDGE slot in the back of the unit. Turn on the power and assign the voices to the instrument keys.
1) Before turning on the power, insert the Waveform Cartridge into the WAVEFORM DATA CARTRIDGE slot in the back of the unit.
2) Turn on the power.
3) Press [KEY ASSIGN].
4) Press the [JOB] button.
5) Press the [0] button.
6) Press the [1] button.
7) Press an instrument key multiple times to see which cartridge voices can be assigned to it.
NOTE: A cartridge voice is indicated by the letters CRT (some key pads will show no cartridge voices).
8) Repeat this process for each desired instrument key until finished. The assignments done on each instrument key will be retained.
