Adding a Strap Button to a guitar

It is not recommended to add a strap button the neck heel of Yamaha guitars since it would void the limited lifetime warranty on the guitar due to modification.  A traditional strap that can be tied to the headstock is recommended.  Please reference the guitar warranty link for further details on modification under the exclusions section.
