Step-Recording and Saving a Song
Recording Chord Changes for Auto Accompaniment in Step-time:
1) Select a desired Auto Accompaniment ‘STYLE’ for the Song.
2) Press the [DIGITAL RECORDING] button.
3) Press the [A] ‘SONG CREATOR’ button.
4) Press the [NEXT] button repeatedly to display the ‘CHD’ page in the screen.
5) Press the [G] ‘STEP REC’ button.
6) Use the ‘1’, ‘2’, and ‘3’
and
toggle buttons under the screen to select the chord location.
7) Enter a chord by using the currently selected chord fingering method in the Auto Accompaniment section of the keyboard.
8) Repeat steps 7 – 9 until all the desired Style sections and chords have been entered.
9) Play back the recording:
a) Press the [STOP] button.
b) Press the silver [PLAY/PAUSE] button to start the Song.
c) Press the silver [PLAY/PAUSE] button again to stop the Song.
Recording Melody Tracks:
1) Press the [EXIT] button once to return to the chord entry screen.
2) Press the TAB [>] button to display the ‘1-16’ page in the screen.
4) Press the [F] button repeatedly to select a MIDI Channel (track) for recording
3) Press the [G] ‘STEP REC’ button.
5) Select a desired Voice for the track.
6) Press the [EXIT] button once to return to the step entry screen.
7) Use the ‘1’, ‘2’, and ‘3’
and
toggle buttons under the screen to select thea location for entering a note.
8) Press one of the toggle buttons under the note icons in the screen to select a desired note length.
9) Press the key on the keyboard for the desired note.
10) Repeat steps 4 – 9 for subsequent notes/tracks/Voices.
NOTE: See Owner’s Manual for edit buttons and velocity value chart for changing note length.
11) Play back the recording:
a) Press the [STOP] button.
b) Press the silver [PLAY/PAUSE] button to start the Song.
c) Press the silver [PLAY/PAUSE] button again to stop the Song.
Saving the Song:
1) Press the [A] ‘SONG’ button.
2) Use the TAB [<] and [>] buttons to select the 'USER' memory page or the 'USB1' memory page.
3) Press the '6'
'SAVE' button.
4) Use the '1' - '8'
and
toggle buttons to name the Song.
5) Press the '8'
'OK' button to save the Song to the selected location.
