Connecting the Instrument to a Computer Via Audio, for Burning a CD

Last Update: 03/01/2014

To record an audio file, you will need to obtain an audio interface, such as the Yamaha Audiogram and plug into it via the instrument's left aux output jack  with an instrument cable. The interface comes with Cubase AI and you can use the software to record .WAV files, which can then be burned to a CD. (Audio files on commercial CDs commonly known as CDA or .WAV files.)
