Saving Data to a USB Flash Drive
Insert a USB flash drive.
1) Press the [MENU] button. in the 'File Control' section.
2) Choose ‘CATEGORY 
and 
buttons to select either…
a) ‘User File Save’ (for saving all the songs in the internal memory to a
SmartMedia card as one file, for more editing or recording later).
b) ‘SMF Save’ (for saving an individual song to a SmartMedia card in
Standard MIDI File format, which can be played on any compatible
sequencer or computer program, but no longer edited in the PSRK1).
3) Name the file:
a) For ‘User File Save’, press the [EXECUTE] button once, then use the
Data Dial to select letters, and the [-] and [0] buttons to move the cursor
left and right.
b) For ‘SMF Save’, press the [EXECUTE] button twice, then use the
Data Dial to select letters, and the [-] and [0] buttons to move the cursor
left and right.
4) Press the [EXECUTE] button again. The screen displays ‘Save OK?’.
5) Press the [EXECUTE] button one more time, and the song data will be saved
to the USB FLASH drive.
