PLG100-VH Plug In Can be Used as a Vocoder With the CS6x or S80.

The setup required to use the PLG100-VH plug-in effect function in the CS6x or S80 performance mode is described below.


" Preparation

1. Install the PLG100-VH in the instruments rear-panel plug-in board slot 1.

2. Connect a dynamic microphone to the [l] A/D INPUT connector on the instruments rear panel, and set an appropriate microphone input level via the GAIN control.


" Performance Edit Procedure


1. In the performance mode press the [JOB] button.
2. Rotate the [PAGE] knob to select the PFM Initialize display.
3. Rotate knob [C] to select Current Perform.
4. Press the [ENTER] button to execute the initialize operation.


1. In the performance mode press the [EDIT] button to go to the performance edit mode.
2. Rotate knob [A] so that PART AD appears in the lower left of the display.
3. Rotate the [PAGE] knob to go to the Mix Template display.
4. Use knob [B] to select mic, and knob [C] to select 01[Mic].


5. Rotate knob [A] so that Part01 appears in the lower left of the display.
6. Rotate the [PAGE] knob to go to the Mix Level display.
7. Use knob [B] to set the Vol item to 0.


8. Rotate knob [A] so that Common appears in the lower left of the display.
9. Rotate the [PAGE] knob to go to the EFF Part display.
10. Set the PLG-EFF item to PartAD.
11. Rotate the [PAGE] knob to go to the EFF PLG display.
12. Rotate knob [1] to select VOCODER then press the [ENTER] button.
13. Rotate the [PAGE] knob to switch pages so that the LEAD/HARM value appears above knob [2].
14. Use knob [2] to set the value to L15. Execute the Store operation to save the edited performance to internal memory.

When the setup procedure described above has been completed, the plug-in effect should be applied to microphone input while you play on the instruments keyboard.
