The FC3A Volume Foot Pedal originally recommended in the DX7 Owner's Manual has been superceded by the
FC7 Volume Foot Pedal.
The FC7 requires a slight modification to prevent the battery voltage reading from exceeding the normal 3.5 volts. Unless this problem is corrected, when the FC7 Volume Foot Pedal is set to its maximum position, the battery voltage will read +5 volts or higher.
This applies only to instruments with a Serial # below 88666.
