How does the bell throat size affect the sound of a horn?

The bell throat size is the size of the area where the right hand is placed while playing the horn. The sound variation from different bell throat sizes is as follows: Medium small (MS) bell throat: Bright and direct tone. Found in the YHR-891 and YHR-881 models. Medium, Medium large (M, ML) bell throat: Deep sound with brightness. Found in the YHR-867KRD and YHR-87D models. Large, Extra large (L, LL) bell throat: Rich, thick and heavy tone. Found in the YHR-868GD and YHR-668D models.
