What's the difference between the "semi automatic" system and the "full automatic" system?

Last Update: 09/03/2010

A semi automatic system is where the first and second octave keys are separate. This type of mechanism is more advanced than the full automatic system but is more easy to adjust, so it is widely used worldwide. The full automatic system is where the first and second octave keys are fully linked. This type of mechanism is easier to operate than the semi automatic system but adjustment is more difficult.
